After receiving his BFA from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Nate Risteen went on to earn a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. He is currently a Visiting Instructor of Sculpture at the University of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and a Lecturer in Sculpture and Drawing at Chester College of New England. He has been represented by Pep Gallery of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, and has upcoming two-person exhibitions at The University of Louisiana at Monroe and Berea College. He maintains a blog about art in New England, www.bostonartreview.com, and enjoys studying literature in the Welsh language.
