Joseph Forest has taught both undergraduate history and business courses at several local colleges over the past decade, where he sought to expand the integration of music and audio-video material into the classroom. From 1999 until 2005, he attended summer workshops presented by the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College that focused on the leadership and social issues associated with that time in America’s history.

A native of New Hampshire, he has been involved in volunteer work with several local community organizations over the years. He is currently a member of the Organization of American Historians.
