FACULTY AND STAFF: Faculty Profiles
Christina Pitsch, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Fine Arts, holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, and an MFA in Sculpture from the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University. Chris has exhibited and lectured on her work nationally and internationally and has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Currier Art Center, Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH.
Christina’s work focuses on issues of the masculine and feminine and gender stereotypes. She works in mixed media sculpture as well as printmaking.
A sample of lecture/ exhibition venues include: Currier Museum of Art, The Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, China, Southern Normal University, Guangzhou, China, The Print Center, Philadelphia, PA, Palm Springs Art Museum, CA , Purdue University, Artemisia Gallery, Chicago, IL and Galerie Sei-un-do, Zurich, Switzerland.
Christina maintains a studio space in the mill yard in Manchester, NH.
